2024 Photo Safari – Big Red barn

Come and join National Photography Club at our first event for the year at Big Red Barn for the annual Photo Safari.

Please remember to RSVP before the 8th of February 2024 with Dawid or Robert.

Part 1:

‘The Shoot’- we meet at 06h30 at the parking area of The Big Red Barn. We start at 07h00. You are responsible for paying the R40 pp (R30 for pensioners) trail running/walking, entrance fee at the yellow caravan – make sure to receive your armband. Remember your hat and photo gear. There are many activities at the venue so I am sure there will be some action photo categories – bring the right gear ….

Part 2:

‘Select and Entries’ – Select a maximum of 2 entries per category (no editing), rename and save on a memory stick. Entries must be handed in between 16h00 and 18h00 at Dawid’s house at 497 Elsa Olivier Street, Garsfontein, or Wetransfer to dawidmouton@gmail.com.. Viewing of all entries will take place at the AGM in February 2024.

Rules:

1. Take your photos in jpg format.
2. NO EDITING OF ANY KIND MAY BE DONE.
3. No cropping and manipulation are allowed.
4. No special effects on your camera may be used, even if you can program your camera for a certain “look” before taking the photo.
5. No settings on the camera may be used after the photo has been taken to manipulate the photo, i.e. levels, saturation and/or colour.
6. You may rotate your photo, but flipping will not be allowed.
7. No photos may be taken after 16h00.
8. All photos must be taken inside the Grounds of The Big Red Barn.
